Good afternoon. May nakakaalam po ba if they really call the companies to verify our employment? And kung saang part na? After the interview ba or pagka lodge ng application? Ayoko lang sana malaman sa office of our intention to migrate. Thank you!

Hi lenefra :)Yes, they definitely will. I remembered my husband was also worried about this. Siya yung principal sa aming dalawa and was worried na malalaman sa office. Fortunately, close sila nung boss nya. So wala talagang choice but to let them know dahil tatawag sila and mag-eemail dun sa reference mo. References are big here in NZ. You get more preference on work applications if you have a referral. And it pays to have a good working relationship with everyone you work it. If you get approved for your application, once you start applying for jobs. Tatawagan ulit sila nung company na inaapplyan mo for reference again. Most companies here, hindi ka bibigyan ng offer letter without going thru your references.

Ask ko lang sa certificate of employment. Okay din kaya ipasa yung affidavit from my former colleague (notarized) and attached the generic COE from HR? Yung affidavit contains my roles and responsibilities.

Hello All and iceman08Sa current employer ko, nakakapag secure ako ng COE with JD. Need din ba sa previous employer na may JD? Or pede na generic COE lang? Cheers,

heprex, sa case namin generic COE lang binigay ng HR kasi my format daw sila. So gumawa kami statutory declaration, andon ung JD then attach namin ung generic COE at pag-ibig contribution ng company as evidence. then pinanotarize. tinanggap naman ng CO.

heprex, another way around this if you have a JD on your original employment contract. Sinubmit na rin namin ito together with the generic COE.

heprex based sa mga COE ko, ang meron lang complete ng JD is yung current then lahat is generic na. nagsama na lang ako ng resume dun sa mga pinasa ko.

hi doraemon7 , what if hindi nag iissue ng COE with job details ung previous employer ko. wala din sa contract ko ung job description, ano pa kaya ibang options pwede ko take? Medyo nadedelay pagstart ko ng process since di nakikipag cooperate ung previous employer ko

macey,ano po inapply mo visa? Try to be honest sa case officer mo na ayaw mag issue ni previous employer ng COE with description baka may massuggest siya na options. Sensya na wala na din ako maisip na ibang paraan eh.

macey get a statutory declaration from a supervisor or your old manager that you did so and so duties. Would be good if they still work there but OK lang kahit hindi.

kenriv When I did my IQA, eto lang yung mga sinubmit ko: 1. Passport Biopage 2. Bachelor's Degree Diploma 3. Transcript of Records with Subject Description and Course Syllabus If you're referring to this requirement: "Evidence of apprenticeship or trade experience: If you completed a formal apprenticeship, send QRS the contract of apprenticeship. This would have been issued to you by your employer, and will include the dates you started and completed the apprenticeship.QRS cannot assess stand-alone work experience and/or competency-based certificates. Depending on the pathway of the trade qualification, NZQA may not be the appropriate body to assess your skill set, abilities and/or competency in a specific area of trade."I reckon better yung may job description para mas detailed. In my case, i always used COE with job descriptions sa lahat ng visa applications namin (we processed 10 - 5 each kami ng partner ko). But, if not for this requirement, I don't think need ng COE? I suggest you also submit yung Skill Shortage Form (since LTSSL ang skill mo - programmer/IT field) para ma-assess narin nila. Let's wait for the others din in case may different point of view sila. By the way, one of my friends also got a slot in SFV '18. She didn't submit COE din.

Pepper work experience documentation is only required when one has a trade qualification (carpentry, plumbing certs and similar ones) kenriv I suggest that you read the SFV rules again and read the NZQA website...

kenriv - When I submitted my COE, I asked my previous employer to put the following information so there's no further question from immigration: -Duration of work -Hours of work per week -Language used in organization -Job description Hope it helps

tanong ko lang din kung pwede ba na hindi original copy ang iprovide ko sa COE and JO? sa Singapore kasi ako nagwork dati at nadito na ako sa NZ, nakahingi naman ako sa HR ko dati kaso scanned copy lang, ok lang kaya to isubmit for residency? salamat.

lilyl8r congrats on finding a job on visit visa. Please have a look here to know in what form your proof should come as www.immigration.govt.nz/opsmanual/#35125.htmIf you’re claiming points for your work experience then you need a detailed job description as well. Do you have this?

Naghingi din ako ng job description pero lately lang at scanned copy lang din na nakasign hr namin dati. Ano kaya dapat kong gawin? Pwede ko ba ipacertify to without the original copy?
