What we did po is nagpunta kami sa school ng anak ko. Good thing is same school lang sya nag Elementary and 2nd Yr highschool. So humingi po kami ng Medium of instruction ay English but with academic years po. Meaning from what year to what year which will satisfy the condition below.
o completion of all primary education and at least 3 years of secondary education (that is, the equivalent of New Zealand Forms 3 to 5 or years 9 to 11) at schools using English as the language of instruction;
For my wife naman Medium of Instruction din from her University school naman. Pero shes working here in SG. I don't know of this is another factor kaya puwede na yung medium of instruction cert.

Evidence to prove your partner’s English proficiency. Because your partner’s qualification is not currently recognized, therefore, the letter from your partner’s University to state English is the medium of instruction in this university is not sufficient evidence to prove your partner’s English proficiency
Thanks po in advance!

CheeseCurlz di ko alam ano ang line of work ni hubby mo pero in my case kahit hindi ako principal and although exempt na school ko, I provided certification from school, a letter from myself enumerating reasons why I think I am proficient in English - e.g. working in organisations with multicultural environments, speaker in international conferences etc. I also provided a list of publications I co-wrote with links so she can verify them. If you can have his schools including high school and elementary education also give their certificates it would be good. Also let her know that you checked the IELTS calendar and tried to get in but the earliest date is beyond her one week deadline. Your husband should demonstrate to your CO that his English is flawless. Let him prepare the letter and forward to you all in well - crafted perfect English. Goodluck! Hi ModM, Thank you po sa reply. Nung unang submit po namin ng ITA, nagsubmit kami ng letter why he shouldn't take IELTS. Pati cert from the University. Sa IT po line nya, Network Engr. More than 10 years na overseas.

Notwithstanding (b) above, an immigration officer may, on a case by case basis, consider the following as evidence of the principal applicant meeting the minimum standard of English if:
iii. they provide other evidence which satisfies an immigration officer that, taking account of that evidence and all the circumstances of the application, they are a competent user of English. These circumstances may include but are not limited to: o the country in which the applicant currently resides; o the country(ies) in which the applicant has previously resided; o the duration of residence in each country; o whether the applicant speaks any language other than English; o whether members of the applicant's family speak English; o whether members of the applicant's family speak any language other than English; o the nature of the applicant's current or previous employment (if any) and whether that is or was likely to require skill in English language; o the nature of the applicant's qualifications (if any) and whether the obtaining of those qualifications was likely to require skill in the English language.

If all else fails, your CO might require you to get IELTS, and give you ample amount of time to get it, or have you take ESOL. According to my immigration adviser, the CO does have the right to have you do this if he/she is not satisfied with your proof of English language ability.

Hi CheeseCurlz! Kung one week lang ang binigay at ang ni-submit ninyo lang ay certificate from the university, mas maganda kung mag-submit pa kayo ng ibang proof of English language ability na nabanggit ng ibang members natin, lalong-lalo na yung kay medrion. Mabisang proof yung email correspondence at work or testimony from the employer.

What do you mean "ibang" proof? Anyway, this is totally case officer dependent.

May Job Offer naman sila, level 5 sya as principal applicant. Tinanggap yung Certificate from University sa kanila. Kasabayan ko ngayon sa ITA. Mataas points ng ganun pala.. galing.

CheeseCurlz wala na interview kapag may job na or may job offer. Aside from the supporting documents that you provide to vouch for your English ability such as Certificates from employers and schools, importante yung communication with CO. Your email grammar and style of writing will give your CO a good idea of your proficieny. Sent from my GT-I9505 using proboards

Kaya nyo yan..
