divhon Next email should be interview schedule. If you're done with that then advisory email on whether your visa will be approved or declined or if you will be given a JSV instead of RV. Thanks!

Got the good news last Friday (21 Oct 2016) via email, 1 week after the interview: AIP - RV Since scheduled for passport renewal kami eh baka early next year pa kami makapagpa-stamp.
Tanong lang, other than the return of documents return courier fee, may iba pa bang fees na kailangan bayaran? Wala kasi namention sa email other than the documents return courier fee (USD40).

I just want to ask if you sought advice of a lawyer for the assistance on the appeal at the Tribunal or you did on your own? I have the case of my residency being denied due to the reason of delayed submission for only a few days of only one document. On the day of the deadline, I even courteously asked the CO to consider a few days extension as our HR department are sorting the document. The CO was on holiday vacation for the whole 2 weeks, as per his auto-email reply. By the time he was back, he saw my email follow-up of the document I submitted. Problem is he still made a decision to deny my application as being late of that particular document. It's disheartening at mabigat sa loob, as it feels that the CO we were assigned to is very strict and inconsiderate of my request to extend a few more days. If you sought for Atty's assistance, may I know your suggestion kung sino? Thanks and God bless. No regrets, happy ako na before nawala mom nya, nabigyan nya ng panahon. Yung result ng NZ Immig tribunal, pwede nyo tingnan dito forms.justice.govt.nz/search/IPT/Residence/Appeal number namin ay 202809. Search lang ninyo for reference. Parang movie lang ni John Lloyd at Bea. lol Complete timeline: 26-Nov-2013 - EOI Submitted 27-Nov-2013 - EOI Selected 12-Dec-2013 - ITA Received 18-Mar-2014 - ITA Documents Sent 19-Mar-2014 - ITA Lodgement Date 20-Mar-2014 - Full Medical Received 23-Jul-2014 - CO Assigned 25-Sep-2014 - CO asking for addtl proof of comm and spouse / I lived in 12 mos 16-Oct-2014 - Addtl docs sent 29-Oct-2014 - CO asking again for addtl proof. Sent another set of docs 30-Oct-2014 - Sent USB stick containing almost 2yrs worth of viber conv (40k lines). - Included screenshots of some of our English conv w/ spouse 11-Dec-2014 - CO requested again addtl proof and sent final letter before making the decision 23-Dec-2014 - Sent our last mail and addtl proof to CO 23-Jan-2015 - CO declined our application due we have not lived for 12mos 03-Feb-2015 - Filed our appeal to NZ Immig tribunal 18-Mar-2015 - Tribunal provide our Appeal number (202809) 12-Aug-2015 - Case manager assigned 23-Nov-2015 - Immig Tribunal approved our appeal and new CO will be assigned 14-Jan-2016 - New CO requesting addtl partnership proof (lol mukhang back to square one ulit) 21-Jan-2016 - Sent addtl partnership proof 29-Apr-2016 - Interview Invite 09-May-2016 - Online Approved 26-May-2016 - AIP received

hi sicily , Thank you sa greetings. Hindi kami nag consult to any immigration adviser or lawyer since malaki na nagastos namin sa application. Pag lodge ng appeal another gastos ulit. Sabi nya, pwede kami mag create ng another application or mag appeal. Regards, Mark

Hi markm thanks sa reply. Just wondering, based on your researche dati with regards to making appeal sa Tribunal, will the applicant have a good chance with the appeal if our reason for the decline is that the VO did not consider our appeal for few days extension? I'm not sure kse if this would fall under "Special Case or Situation". Any advice. Thanks. hi sicily , Thank you sa greetings. From: (http://onlineservices.immigration.govt.nz/opsmanual/30882.htm) F2.30.1 Assessment of periods of separation a. If a principal applicant and their partner have lived apart for periods during their partnership, the application should not automatically be declined. Instead, immigration officers should determine whether there are genuine and compelling reasons for any period(s) of separation. b. Determining whether there are genuine and compelling reasons will depend on the circumstances in each case, and may require consideration of: • either partner's family, education or employment commitments • the duration of the partnership and the length of time the couple has spent apart; • the extent to which the couple has made efforts to be together during the time apart.

I believe nandun yung reason ng situation nyo which is sa employment and education commitments.
