Hello,
We have been granted resident visa and we are now in the process of getting our passport stamped. Reading the Final letter from the CO, may statement na:
"...
When you travel to New Zealand using your resident visa, you must granted entry permission at the border. Before you first travel to New Zealand, you must tell us about any changes to your circumstances that may affect a decision to grant you entry permission, including:
- changes to your business or employment
..."
My husband is now looking for NZ job online pero sa June 2017, with or without job offer, mag-resign na si Hubby sa current work and will go to NZ and actively look for work. Ibig sabihin ba nito na we need to advise our CO na nag resign na si hubby before flying to NZ? May ganitong statement din ba sa Approval letter niyo?

jadecross, this is a generic statement sent out when you've been approved. the important phrase here is "that may affect a decision to grant you entry permission". i.e. kunwari bigla kang naging doctor na lang intead of IT professional, he he. anyways, it would be understood that you would need to resign from your current employment when moving to nz, so in short, "no, you don't need to inform your CO.".

AIP received yesterday a week after our online status changed from pending to Approved! God is good all the time!

Hi wimbee23! Hindi naman regularly. Actually naisipan lang ng husband ko icheck online the day after we received a call from our IO. I can't say interview siya kasi she just asked a couple of questions parang for clarification purposes lang ganun. The next day nagchange na from pending to Approved. Walang email or anything that time kaya nagulat din kami. Then after almost a week we received the AIP email. |

We received our AIP po nung Tuesday salamat po sa lahat ng tips at advise dito sa PK.
May tanong po ako kasi plan na po namin ipadala ang mga passports for stamping, need po ba naming mag arrange for courier pickup after ma stamp para mapadala balik sa amin. Appreciate po your advice. Thanks.

@shaw mas maganda puntahan mo doon sa DHL mismo doon sa may Jalan Ibrahim yung office mismo kasi passport yan, mas maganda direct na, mabait yung information doon pinay, tatanongin ka nyan kung ano laman sabihan mulang passport papadala mo kasi parcel ilalagay nila nyan. congrats ulit
