I think it's possible for Silver Fern. Pag-aralan ninyo rito. Family Stream

Hi, dylanlove. It's possible. You can bring your family with that fixed term contract. Just take note of the requirements for their categories. My 1st Silver Fern Practical Experience visa was granted July 17, 2014 and it was only valid for a year. Working Full time / Permanent but my employment contract indicated 32 hours per week. My IRD statement showed 40 hours p/w anyway. I resigned after a month. I applied for Variation of Conditions so I can start working in the new company. Approval date was Sept. 3, 2014 and expiry date followed the first work visa. That was the go signal for my wife to apply for the partnership visa (Open Work) in Singapore. Approval date was Oct. 8, 2014 (still 10 months valid) We applied for my son's Visitor Visa in Manila last January 2015. Approval date was Jan. 19, 2015 (less than 6 months valid) Wife and son arrived in AKL last Feb. 27, 2015 For my 2nd Silver Fern Practical Experience visa, we applied as a family last Jun. 9, 2015 Approval date was Jun. 24, 2015 and was valid for 1 year. We lodged our SMC on Jun. 11, 2015. AIP date was Aug. 13, 2015 Nahirapan ako sa paperworks dahil nagkasabay ang 2nd SFPE at SMC pero it was the right timing for our circumstance. From my timeline, I hope it will give you an idea what can happen during the first year of your SFPE visa. Pasensya na kung napahaba ang kwento. HTH. God bless!

Hi everyone, thank you for your inspiring stories esp bryan26 and cayll21. I recently got a slot in the SFJSV, and I was wondering about the possible routes on how to bring my spouse and kids via SFJSV? Based on your experiences, I know I need to go to NZ first and look for a job, then apply for SFPEV then bring my family (and eventually apply for SMC). Is there any other option para sabay sabay na kami sa umpisa pa lang? Thank you so much!

shanarallen In theory, may other options naman kaya lang you need to ask your self if everything will be manageable. Your family can apply for Visitor Visas and they need to satisfy the requirements. And anticipate one or two more visa applications for your family once you are all here before your SMC. Kapag approved na ang Job Search Visa mo, you have 6 months to enter NZ. If you can get a job offer while outside NZ and before the travel date expiry, if you have enough time, you can submit your Silver Fern Practical Experience Visa application there in MLA. You can include your family as long as you (as the work visa holder) can satisfy the requirements and the requirements for your partner and dependents. By then, pwede kayong magsabay-sabay papunta ng NZ. So far, wala pa talaga akong kilalang SFV na sabay-sabay agad pumunta dito ang buong family. We have similar reasons. Alalay sa gastos. The need to manage the adjustment for the family. But it is your family. Your resources, time and effort. It depends on how much you are willing to spend and give up. But definitely getting a job offer will be the best way to bring your family the soonest time.

getyusWow, thank you for this great advice! My husband is actually planning to find a PhD scholarship during this time, so that he can also enter NZ via student visa. Pero syempre mahirap-hirap itong route na to. But I didn't think of that option, which is to find a job habang andito pa sa pinas. I will definitely try that. Tama ka rin, it would be for our own peace of mind na mauna muna ako considering a lot of factors, the financial resource being a major one. Anyway, at this point, Sobrang tinding prayer lang ginagawa ko so that everything will run according to God's design. Thanks a lot, and God bless you!

And in parallel, apply for SMC.

cayll21 and getyusHello! My SFJSV has been approved and my husband and I decided na mauna na lang ako sa NZ. My question is, if I get a job offer (skilled) in NZ, should I be the one applying for my family's visa (work and student visa) or mag-aapply ang husband ko while in the philippines? we're gonna get the documents ready kasi. Thanks a lot and God bless!

shanarallen General rule is you have to fill out your own application. In your hubby's case, siya mismo ang magfi-fill out ng application niya. Up to you kung saan ninyo gustong i-submit. Either sa Pinas or dito.

shanarallenKapag may skilled job ka na and nasecure mo na yung SFPEV mo, you can sync the application for your family. Husband: Use INZ 1198 Form and double check all the documents listed in the checklist. Visa Guide for that form is INZ 1199. Work Visa Holder (You): Give him your INZ 1146 Form to complete his requirements Visitor Visa (INZ 1017) for Dependent children (up to age 4) Student Visa (INZ 1012) starting at age 5. Review all the Application Checklist for each forms. Once approved, all their visas will be tied to your visa expiry.

But you need to have that job search visa first. Section B is needed. Magnote ka lang sa B2 in case hindi familiar sa ANZSCO ang magfifill up from employer side. Section C is not required. For Essential Skills Visa lang yon. And SFPE will not be labour market tested. Processing of work visa in SG takes aout 10 working days. Kung kasama mo ang family mo sa SG (being PRs, work pass /DP holders) pwede kayong magkakasabay ang application for that SFPE. Spouse will have open work visa and depende sa age ng kids if visitor or student visa.

You can lodge your SFPE even outside NZ. Basta isecure mo na agad yung job search visa mo at ihanda ang requirements for Practical Exp. Use the Applications Checklists applicable to each family members. Work visa processing in SG takes about 10 working days. Section B is required. Guide your employer with B2 in case hindi familiar sa ANZSCO. Section C is not significant. That's for Essential Skills Visa only. Offer of Skilled Job in SFPE will not be labour market tested.

So they will need to DHL or NZPost it express.

Thank you, Almighty God! Thank you, Pinoykiwi! Silver Fern Practical Experience Visa granted. 1 year daw muna. Bawal magtrabaho para sa ibang kumpanya. Bawal magkasakit. This is all good. One battle at a time. Preparing for FEB next year. (parang yung work pass natin dito) Kaya bawal alisan? At pano yung partnership visa ni misis if ever lumipat ako?

Hehe
Any changes sa employment, check mo ang details sa Variation of Conditions (INZ 1020). --Work visa holders You may apply for a variation of conditions to allow you to change your occupation, your employer or your place of employment, or to study part-time. If you are changing employer, your new employer must complete the Employer Supplementary [INZ 1113] Form, unless your new employer is an Accredited Employer.
Your application will only be granted if the new conditions would meet the immigration instructions your original visa was issued under.About the take home pay, it happens to other people, too. For some, take home pay is better here. Depende sa company, industry, work or experience. Pero aside sa take home pay, there are other important things that people consider before migrating here. Naka depende ba sa company mo yung sfpe visa? (parang yung work pass natin dito) Kaya bawal alisan? At pano yung partnership visa ni misis if ever lumipat ako? Dko mahanap kung ano un sinabi sa taas na 'variation of conditions' Pwede kang umalis o lumipat ng work kung gusto mo at kailangan mo mag apply ng Variation of Conditions. New visa label will be issued once approved and will reflect your new employment conditions but the visa expiry will be the same with the first one. I am not sure kung paano yung existing visas sa partner and dependents. You can call INZ for assistance. Wala pa kasi akong kilalang nakaexperience ng ganito. I applied for my wife after ko nang makalipat sa 2nd job. Cheers!

Salamat in advance

My opinion: 312111 is Architectural Draftsperson in ANZSCO. ARCHITECT is 232111 and occupational registration is mandatory. Kausapin mo ang nagbibigay ng job offer sa'yo if you can use the alternative title like "Architectural Associate" which is still proper for 312111. It doesn't have to be the exact ANZSCO job title. While all other remains relevant, core tasks ang importante. Again, just my opinion.

yopapz,
Mabilis na lang yan. Basta keep in mind na every time may signatures required (esp INZ forms), give the original copies para less hassle. Another suggestion: Kung may question sa forms about denied visa applications in the past or refusal of entry, just be honest. Any tourist, residence or work visa applications to any countries (incl NZ) that was previously declined, just briefly explain it. Mas gusto nila ang honest. Meron akong 5 visa applications na denied before. I declared them all.
Kitakita soon dito sa AKL!
