God Bless.

Yey! Finally it's approved! Praise God! And thank you all sa help, direct and indirect Mwah mwah mwah! Hehe! Btw, ask ko lang, though the web has changed to approved this 11am, until now no email from CO yet.

Hi Guys, Here's our story My husband is the principal applicant and he's been working in SG for 10 years now as a Lead/Network Consultant. I also worked there for 3 years but I decided to came back to Philippines when I got pregnant in 2010. PR na kami noon and both of us have stable and permanent jobs. We also hired a yaya and we could have settled in SG if we wanted to. I was not sure at the time but my priorities have changed. I felt that I don't want my son to grow up in SG. Life there can be very stressful and artificial, at least for me. I was longing for my son to grow up in a place he can call home and really be happy. So my son and I went back to the Philippines and started a business. With my son growing up too fast, I know that he needed a father by his side. My husband doesn't want to go back to the Philippines and I also don't want to go back to SG. So we made a compromise and finally decided to try to apply to NZ. From our research, NZ is a great place to raise a family and IT industry is booming. To be honest, our application was very smooth and we were also surprised that we will be approved in only 6 months. Of course, we had a lot of help from my husband's former colleagues who are already in NZ. But most especially, this forum has been a great guide for me in preparing myself on what to expect once we make the move. We plan to move in NZ in 4-5 months and I really wish to meet you all someday. So there it goes, that's our story For current applicants, everything you need to know are all here. So just read as much as you can and in His perfect timing, hopefully we'll be able to see each other in NZ. The only new question I was asked by the CO is, "In general, how do you feel about making the move to New Zealand?".
