Nung nagkaron po kami ng mini "seminar" natanong ko po sa immigration king pwede po ba akong mag lodge ng student visa application kahit po last quarter of 2018 ko pa balak umalis. Ang sabi nila okay lang naman daw since pwede naman nila i-future date ang visa. Pero kung January ako magpamedical and mabigyan ng visa by Feb, irerequire pa po ba ako na magsubmit ng another xray before ako umalis? Or okay na po yung full medical and xray na gagawin ko this Jan?

sharina wala na pong x-ray or full medical until 3 years na sa system x-ray and full medical and need niyo sa new visa application sa future.

Hi, everyone! I just want to ask, bakit po better to take the full medical exam dito sa pinas? Ang advice kasi ng agency ko is magpa-xray lang daw. Pero sabi ng isang friend ko in NZ better daw magpafull sa Pinas but another friend in NZ sabi mas maganda daw sa NZ na kumuha ng full medical. I'm just so confused. I would appreciate any feedback from you guys which you think is better? Thanks so much!  |

YinDomina If you will be asked to do more tests in case an abnormal result comes out it will be more expensive and time consuming. Better to know the whole picture when you aren’t here yet. I have a friend who spent more than a thousand dollars on extra tests... they have just found out here that he has hypothyroidism. It didn’t help that the clinic he went to was overly strict they submitted their findings without asking for retests... Unluckily for me without knowing he had gone through a bad experience in that clinic I also went there to have my medical and they tagged me as hypertensive, no retest before submitting to INZ. It affected all my future INZ visa applications. 😃 I had to prove each time I have an acceptable standard of health. And I’m not hypertensive. At all. If you do it in the PH you won’t have to deal with the medical for 3 years more.

YinDomina better take the full medical kasi kasama na chest xray dun. Accredited nila ang St. Lukes BGC sa medical arts bldg sila 10th floor. Medyo mahal nasa 11,600 pero sigurado ka sa tests at hindi kana papabalik-balik unless may abnormal findings sila. Foforward na rin nila results mo sa embassy so bawas hassle sa part mo.

My husband is applying for residency kasi. Ano ano po ginagawa sa medical? And do I have to brinv her baby book? Tinatanong po ba yung mga vaccines na nabigay sa bata? TIA!

maan0912 punta ka lang sa St Lukes Global City sa 10th floor medical arts building. Just bring your passports with photocopy of biopage. Sabihin mo lang for NZ Visa application ka. Ang fee syo is 11,200 sa anak mo 2,800 yata.

maan0912 sabihin mo full medical ka. Ang procedures ay chest xray, cbc, urinalysis, visual acuity check tapos physical exam sa physician. Sa 4yr old mo baka physical exam lang sa MD unless sa medical history nya eh nagka-primary complex sha. If meron ka recent xray nya maganda dalhin mo maski syo. Sa amin hindi nman hinanap ang baby book.

maan0912 depends if you used this Feb x-ray on a visa application... if you did and you didn’t stay outside NZ from Feb - May then your x-rays should still be valid until Feb 2021 within INZ system If you didn’t submit it on a visa application then you need to have a new one

Hi Guys, Ask ko lang mga inputs nyo. I'm planning to apply for student visa again for next year intake. Kaso may concern ako regarding my health. I was just diagnosed kasi na may type 2 diabetes ako and I'm already 39 yrs of age going 40 soon. Is it still possible to obtain a student visa and eventually resident visa after ng studies kahit na may diabetes? Meron na po ba success story dito sa forum na similar sa situation ko? Salamat po.

fruitlover good news for you is that type 2 diabetes by itself will not make you ineligible for a residence class visa in the future... it’s the other diseases you can contract or are highly susceptible to when you have diabetes (kidney issues etc) that could cost NZ more than $41,000 to treat you in the future. If they find anything out of range they would ask you to submit re-tests and other tests that would let them know if you have underlying issues (undiagnosed other illnesses) which could be costly if you do them in NZ while on a temp visa, you will pay for all of these under unsubsidised prices. Of course costly din in a way na made-decline ang visa due to health reasons Another good news is type 2 diabetes is diet related... we’re not all medical professionals here who can give you medical advice but in general when people apply for visas and they know there are issues, they try to reverse it. Personally I think Type 2 diabetes is reversible so hindi ka naman talaga ganun ka-hopeless. Try to get on top of it before it gets worse. And medication isn’t key, type 2 diabetes meds only manage your levels but don’t really “cure” it. Might be time for a healthy change. Easier said than done I know, but if you want a road with less hiccups...

Thanks sa comment mo. At least I felt better and nabuhayan ako ng loob. I hope everything will materialize as per my plan. I really need to take good care of my health lalu na ngaun sa situation ko so as not to cause any issue in the future if given the chance to apply for residency. So for now I need to work on my visa para makahabol for feb 2019 intake. Thank you.

Hi guys john here.. inemail ako ng CO last Dec 18 that my medical is being assessed by the MA ganun ba talaga kahit na based sa emedical ko no abnormal or significant findings ang result? At up to 10 weeks ang referral. Ang natandaan ko lng is medyo elevated BP ko cgruro kz kabado ako that time hehe Nakakafrustrate lng kz family ko approved na sila eh sila pa ung mga nagrepeat ng mga cbc nila.. (ayaw ko maiwan huhu)
