To sum it up, please google HUMILITY." (db nahighlood lol) DO your research DO be humble and have the right attitude, be positive DO reflect on yourself. DO ask questions (why?) DO network DO live frugally especially if your just starting (when you arrive here in NZ) DO set your goals, plans and back up plans DO show appreciation with the opportunities that come along your way DON'T expect too much DON'T be negative DON'T bring your pride (chicken!) DON'T be maluho (extravagant) DON'T get too much excited "Life isn't about having good career. Being successful doesn't depend on having a great profession. Being successful means you are contented with your life, you help other people to succeed, you spend valuable time with your loved ones and you enjoy each and every day that God has given to you. Be appreciative. Everything happens for a reason. If there are failures or hardships that go along the way, think of them as blessings in disguise. Smile. Be happy. May all your dreams come true!" - Yangkaru Yangkaru is the poetic, dramatic and frustrated writer side of db hehe Salamat!

Dun sa post ni aBiSh GaiL aBiSh @admin as below na: +++++++++ Don't: Red ribbon your documents - Red ribbon doesn't mean anything in New Zealand. Bring all originals. Get an international driving permit - Your license would do in NZ. +++++++++ Tanong ko lang. Yung Phil Driving License ba sa Pinas is honored whether it is Pro or Non Professional? ( I also post this question in the Topic na Confusion about Drivers License sa ating forum kaso no answer e…) Many thanks po...

Buti na lang, you confirmed na OK na whether Pro or Non Pro… Many thanks and more power..

Pwede ko rin ba itong idagdag? DO bring lots of Pei Pa Koa lozenges. Hahaha.. Check customs limit!

Mahigpit sila and biosecurity ang last mo dadaanan before ka makalabas ng airport. So make sure you declare properly. And they have xray machines and even dogs.
1. Kung may camping shoes, other outdoor gear. Ideclare lang para macheck nila if nalinis mabuti. 2. Food is okay as long as its commercially packaged like dried mangoes na nabibili satin.

Good day po sa lahat! (Document A) Overseas passport with New Zealand immigration visa / permit (please photocopy the pages showing photo, name, any pages showing current work, visitor permits, or residency documentation and a specimen signature) 2. (Document B) Overseas Drivers' Licence (accompanied by an English translation completed by an LTNZ authorised translator, if not already in English) May mga makakarelate ho ba dito?

Call IRD for an appointment, then you may get an IRD number the nonconventional way.

Hi TheSeeker! Nakalimutan mong basahin siguro yung nakalagay na "You must provide one original and one legible photocopy of one of the following documents." So kahit passport mo lang with NZ visa pwede na.

Paglaki nila, they would love you more as parents (I hope!) because you taught them the language. And, if you can teach them a dialect, e.g., Cebuano, Bicolano, Waray, etc... that would be best. Be grateful for the opportunity to even step on NZ soil. Tumingala, pumikit at magpasalamat sa Kanya. DON'T Rule out going back to PH if things don't work out for you in NZ.

He Genean, I noticed in your signature you provided additional X-ray results. My concern is I had previous PTB treatment which i know needs to be declare. would this loss my chance in SMC due to having previous medical history?

I'd just like to take the opportunity to thank each and everyone of you that posted here. Ang laking help madaming nadagdag sa list ko na hindi ko pa nagagawa (and not to mention DONTS na kelangan kong hindi pala gwin) This is really a must read pag nagddecide na nga llipat sa NZ. Just sharing... So many uncertainties but sabi nga ni Einstein "Insanity is doing the same thing while expecting different results" And with that in mind. Walang mababago sa goals ko kung same lang din ang plans ko.. thus kahit papano po mas lumalakas loob ko especially while reading your posts here sa boars. Looking forward to meeting you guys sa NZ.
