Hi guys! Kapag meron kayong follow up questions paki-check kung relevant sa topic or kung merong existing threads para doon natin pag-usapan. Makakatulong yun sa iba na naghahanap ng answers sa questions nila. Nandito yung difference ng RV vs PRV. Resident Versus Permanent Resident

Hello friends,
Gusto ko lang po sana itanong kung halimbawa nakuha na ang permanent resident visa ay maaari ba mauna pumunta ang principal applicant para makapag-settle (hanap ng titirahan, initial job interviews, etc) pagkatapos ay weeks after (basta within the grace period of landing) ay susunod ang spouse at children? Or dapat sabay-sabay mag-land?
Salamat and more power to everyone.

In my opinion, this works well kung : 1. Walang close acquaintance sa NZ na makakaassist sa initial accomodation and help with stuffs-to-do upon landing sa NZ 2. Kung may maliliit na anak (babies to toddlers) and wala nga yung No 1. But siyempre, depende pa rin sa magiging decision niyong mag-asawa yun. Kung initially ay may accomodation na kayo and may mga friends or relatives na pwedeng mag-assists with the kids while looking for a house/job and kaya ng finances to survive the first few weeks/months na naghahanap ng work, maganda rin yung sabay-sabay na

hello, aas.. welcome to pinoykiwi tama po lahat ng sinabi ni sis jade.. kung wala naman constraints, mas maganda syempre na sabay sabay lahat. pag RV ang nagrant na visa, lahat po ng kasama sa application RV din. where as pag JSV, ung principal applicant lang ang may JSV and the rest Visitor's visa muna. Good luck sa NZ journey nyo

Hi aas! Welcome to PinoyKiwi! Tama po mga sinabi nila. To correct you a little bit, hindi permanent resident visa ang iga-grant kundi resident visa lang (or Job Search Visa). And yes, pwedeng principal muna ang mauna. Balitaan mo kami at balik-balik ka lang.

When you become NZ resident, the first visa you get is a Resident Visa (RV) which allows you to to travel in and out of NZ for two years. After two years, you will be eligible to apply for Permanent Resident Visa (PRV) which allows you to be in NZ indefinitely. Refer to this link for more info: www.dol.govt.nz/immigration/knowledgebase/item/3704

Good day po sa lahat!
May tanong po sana ako tungkol sa balak naming gawin.
Our plan is for my wife to apply as the Principal Applicant and should our application be granted ako po ang mauuna pumunta dyan sa NZ to look for a job(home).
We have this plan kasi my wife is earning more than I do and it is the most practical/safest way we think being having a young family.
Thank you and looking forward to your inputs.

Hi mikel! Welcome to PinoyKiwi! Moved your post here. Napansin ko lang, hindi mo yata natanong yung tanong mo. Hehe.. Anyway, the inputs were already given in this thread. Follow mo lang sa taas. If you other questions on the same topic, ask away.

Senysa if my supposed question was included sa paragraph regarding our plan.
The question sana is it possible for me to go and look for a job/settle down first granting our application is successful though my wife is the principal?

If you are granted resident visa, pwede. If Job Search Visa, siya ang dapat mauna. Let's pray na resident visa ang ibigay kung successful.

@abish GaiL, so pwede pa lang mauna si husband (not the principal applicant). Wala po kayang magiging problem pag nangyari yun? Thanks po.

Hi Genean, As long as you don't breach any condition stated in your visa, you're good to go. Anonimoose
