Hi po. Newbie here. We've been living together for 2 years. Ang plano namin hindi kami sabay aalis. Mauuna ako. Pwede po ba ideclare ko muna sya sa application ko tapos after few weeks tsaka ko na lang sya iapply as partner under my student visa? Bibigyan pa din ba sya ng work permit/working rights same as mine?

😊 Goodluck sa application mo sis at see you soon here in NZ.

@bisita lang unfortunately, your parents aren’t considered immediate family for immigration purposes (as in pwedeng maisama ang family sa migration). Yung immediate family is partner and children.
May separate immigration category for them and currently closed yung ganung program ng NZ.

Hi @bisita tama si Allune. As a student, best case na yung maka visitor visa yung mom mo habang nagaaral ka. She'd have to qualify on her own since di siya considered na dependent mo. Since visitor, limited din yung time na pwede siyang magstay in NZ.
Let me know kung gusto mo discuss options mo pagbukas namin after the holidays :) Licensed adviser ako at free yung initial consultation namin.
