hello po. newbie here. nagbabasa basa ako since nagpasa na din ako ng SMC noong February 2020.....
Barbz kamusta ang application mo? may balita naba?

Just an update from a friend, they passed their RN SMC either Jan or Feb ata. They just had a CO last week asking for payslip and proof of partnership.

trello, Hay.. la pa din balita or progress sa application ko. Nag email ako this week sa immigration wala pa raw akong CO.
I’ll try to ring immigration meron din ako itatanong sabay ko na rin itatanong uli if meron update sa application ko.

Yup RNs has priority. Though ung kasama ko nund Dec pa nagsubmit ng ITA until now wala pa ring update ang alam ko kasama sa priority gov't employees.

Ours have been in the queue for 18 months this month.

Really disappointing. The Deputy PM really has a lot of pull... without his support there’s no coalition government.

Planned to switch jobs to crown entities pre-COVID (betted on the chance of getting priority processing) but the job market’s tough right now...

Oh well.

^Kung priority queue ka, expect siguro ng 4-5months sa CO contact. Pero kung hindi, sorry pero matagal na paghihintay bago magkaroon ng CO

Ang sabi po, current queue ng non-priority SMC ay yung mga nagapply pa noong December 2018. Imagine mo na lang po kung gaano na sila katagal naghihintay... hanggang ngayon walang CO..

Sad to say, wala po. Priority po nila:

Principal applicants with current occupational registration (where registration is required by immigration instructions) or principal applicants who are paid an hourly rate at or above twice the median wage (from 24 February 2020 this will be NZD $51 per hour or NZD $106,080 a year)

Based po sa GC namin sa FB may mga naapproved na Audiologist last August 2019 lang nag lodge kaya kapit lang Ate walang imposible kay Lord😊

Iba pa po yung criteria last year.

And even so, sa lahat dito, hindi ba unfair na may ganitong criteria for prioritisation while pare-pareho lang tayo ng ibinayad sa immigration?

Twice na kami mag-rerenew ng visa and new medical na rin.. so yung renewals namin amounts to almost the same na sa SMC (it’s more than the old rate na nga).

If we had the foresight na gaganituhin kami ng NZ govt, sa ibang bansa na lang sana kami nag-apply... pero since eto na andito na napasubo na, antayin na lang. Tapos COVID pa...

The process should at least be transparent. Well-informed ka dapat na tatagal ang application mo.

allune sobra nga unfair. imagine saglit lang nila iprocess yung priority. Ilan kaya nasa priority queue? Too late ko na din nabasa na madame pala ang backlog... kung kailan nakapagpasa na kami

I just can't imagine the agony mag-antay ng 18 months and wala pa din status, it was already hard enough for me noon for 4 months. Tapos ngaun may priority pa sila nalalaman.

Nag announce sila ng occupations treated as exceptions, iaaprove kaya nila lahat un. I mean sa Child care worker and Personal Care assistant pa lang aapaw na cguro ung yearly quota and capacity nila. I don't down play the skills its vital and important most of my friends applied thru that pathway now pero sana pinagaralan muna nila maigi. What they should have done is mag lagay ng condition be working for certain number of years 1st cguro 3-5 years then PR na lang agad hindi na need ng RV.

Ngaun over flowing na rin ung other pathways kawawa nman talaga.

Back to topic I just got the message my friend got their RV today. T think 4-5 months naging timeline nila Covid in between.

Kami po ay Nov 2018 pa ang application. Although may CO na, pero mag 2years na wala pa rin pong result residency application namin. Sobrang nakakapanlumo na po talaga.. 😔

Mukhang gunagalaw nman ung que another friend RN pa rin just got a CO today. March sila nagsubmit.

What message does that send to non-priority ones? We’re not needed here? Some of us are essential workers too.

ajinnzed sobrang saklap nman nyan may CO ka na eh almost finish line na, 2.5 years na pagaantay.

allune Napaka unfair nga. Same lang nman tayo ng tax and fees na binabayaran. All workers are essential. Pano pa kaya ung que sa mga Indian and Chinese applicants for sure mas marami un.

Ako, since medyo late na nagapply I don’t mind getting CO anytime soon. Pero sana naman umandar yung non-priority.
