Hi guys! I'm just reaching but meron bang may idea or guess kung kelan ulit mag open ang EOI selection? Ready to go na yung application namin, Submit button nalang but hindi pa namin magawa kasi what if tumagal pa ng additional 6 months ung suspension of EOI, sayang lang yung bayad. Sa mga nababasa ko po na forums and fb page no idea so far. Prio queue po ba kayo or non prio?

teo you can’t apply if your salary is not 25.00 per hour if employed in ANZSCO skill level 1-3 jobs... that’s what changed in recent years. If you applied before 28 August 2017, then your pay wouldn’t have mattered unless if it’s below market rate. May CO na po kayo?

Baka po after election tsaka sila magdecide if ioopen na ulit ang EOI selection pool That's what I'm guessing. I think mas okay mag send ng EOI before mag election bago magkaroon ng any kind of drastic change

Kapag naka submit na ba ng EOI (only in the pool and not selected yet) hindi na affected ng changes to the points system, say after the election? I'm thinking they will only open EOI selections after the election and only after the winning party have made their changes.

hello po. Radtech po ako sa Pinas with 3 years and 7 months of experience.

Hindi nakapag log-in sobrang daming ganap sa life. Ang taas kaya ng priority $. my friend who has also been here since 2015 na naka WV from student siya dati .. mukhang uuwi soon so nakakalungkot talaga. Hopefully marami good news after with a new Immigration MInister as Former immigration minister Iain Lees-Galloway is out now ModM Yes took a while! And to think kapag nakakameet ako ng ibang mga matagal na rito, the question they ask me is sinong nanay at tatay ko =) LOL. IDK what I do to make them think I've lived here for a while. Anyway, ILG (Iain Lees-Galloway) isn't "just" the problem. Remember it's Labour's party policy as well to reduce immigration intake numbers. There were/are planned changes too to change the minimum salary threshold for skilled migrant category (or change the program altogether) to 200% of the median wage. Oha... saan ka pa? =) We just don't know what they will implement from now on... We don't know if they will proceed as planned, or make new changes because of Covid-19. I mean I am still absolutely pissed that it took as long as it did but I am happy with my outcome. I hope I can say the same of my peers that's why I will be exercising my right to vote this upcoming elections and I will work hard to still keep asking the questions why it's taking soooooo long for some migrants. I won't ever forget that we were kept in the dark for so long it shouldn't have been that way. Even if NZ is on top of a lot of things currently, we can still do better in a lot of other things. I won't let the ball drop just because I'm now an NZ resident.

I would say na huwag ka magpaka-siguro sa job mo ngayon and actually process your Medical Radiation Technologist registration here in NZ, find a job in this field, and so you can qualify for priority processing sa residency later on. Currently due to effects of Covid-19, submission Expression of Interest to apply for residency is currently suspended until further notice... although kung open na and if you want to apply for residency, using your current job... read more about the Skilled Migrant Category which I have linked: www.immigration.govt.nz/new-zealand-visas/apply-for-a-visa/about-visa/skilled-migrant-category-resident-visaDo you meet salary requirements? Are you paid Level 4 pay equity? The 180 points, are you sure that you can claim all those points?

Ok lang un oi. Nothing to apologise you have every right to say what you think and feel.
We are kiwis now, we can be galit, upset, sad, emotional now pero nik minute we need to have the laugh and still share the advocacy to help others especially mga pinoys.
I'm actually happy and always look forward sa mga insight mo sa mga forums and pages as bilib ako sa pagiging latest mo sa immigration info.
Hopefully it will still be the same, unlike me nagsawa na or cguro mas focus lang sa work para makaipon ng pang down sa hyper price inflated na bahay, hehehe.

Yawa DDS mo dai? Abi nako Cebuana ka.
Adopted son, Davao konyo lang. Worked there 2003-2004 came back to Manila then moved permanently 2011 to join my wife until I moved here 2014.
If and when I win the lotto and I needed a new identity CHC will be #1 on my list. I think one of the positive side ng earthquake kung meron man is it corrected its city planning and infrastructure, latest kaya best amongst our major cities IMO.
AKL is too crowded na for me while WLG is too small for my liking for a major city.
I actually fell inlove sa kapatagan ng CHC when we flew down just days before the lockdown for our long drive to QT up to IVC especially sa Rolleston since andun pala ung CHC office namin, so work wise na gusto ko may pagasa. NZ largest hospital will be opening too in November, Hagley building so my wife will not nag me.
I agree sa house pricing jan, where can you find a 4B 2T 2G double glazed brand spankin new house now for 550K that is close to a major metropolis and Int'l airport na makakaikot ka sa buong mundo at makakauwi pinas conveniently if you wanted to.
The house prices here in Rotorua is beyond ridiculous 550K here are dilapidated 1900s houses that most likely has leaks and mould that needs a lot of work done, then kapitbahay mo either Mongrel Mob or Black power na nagtitinda ng Meth. Tangata Whenua my A**
Enough for my rant again.
Now you can plan further sa life mo since hopefully start a family then get your own place.

Question po about sa claiming points for experience.
May 1 year experience ako as quality analyst sa pinas pero wala sa anzsco. Closest is team leader contact center level 3. Pwede ko kaya i-declare and quality analyst role using team leader job description?
Tapos may 3 years din akong team leader experience.
Para if ever, 4 years ang makuha sa point system.
Thanks po sa sasagot.

divhonGrabe as in hindi mababayaran yung “peace of mind” na nakuha ko after securing the residency. Wala nang what ifs... more of “kailan” na kaya makakamit yung ibang mga plano. Naku... may paraan... pa transfer na ng work, may branch naman pala eh =) Kaya ganito sa Christchurch is because post-earthquake they quickly enacted anti price gouging laws sa region kaya heto... abot kaya pa rin ang presyo. Ang chismis is ang dami raw na hindi taga-rito na nagha house hunt dito with the intention lang of gaining more equity then selling up again then moving back to wherever they came from. And earthquakes... kahit saan naman may EQ risk, nasa Ring of Fire yung buong NZ so lahat ng lugar dito ay technically “risky”. Is your wife a nurse na ba? Parang mas ok pa rin yung transfer to Aus wages wise...

Yes she's a nurse now, Aussie is not off the table lalo na next year pag take ng oath.
Would you have any idea mahigpit ba INZ and DIA in regard sa intent to keep living in NZ which I assume eh atleast for the next 12 months and what would be its consequences if one will jump the ditch less than 12 months after getting citizenship. Nakakadismaya kasi ung 30% tax sa 2nd job.
The company is sending me to CHC for some training in NOV, could be a sign which I really appreciate.
Peace of mind is indeed priceless.

nechnechmo Congratulations on getting your residence!

Hi guys. Do you think mag open na ang SMC selection this April? Or do you think mag impose sila ng changes sa points system or baka sa salary threshold before mag open? For sure ang daming pending EOIs waiting for selection.

leanne there definitely will be changes. INZ just hasn't disclosed what they are changing. My best guess is that they're going to bring back the use of more detailed selection criteria.

I only received an email from INZ pero hindi pa nag appear online yung PR application ko, di nakalagay if pending or what. I sent my passport with the application kaya medyo worried po ako. Salamat.
