pxxxxxxxxxxxxxx I believe you can get the CFO certificate (for immigrants to and not workers). Kindly check with the Commission on Filipinos Overseas kung yan pa rin ang practice.

Hi,
3 weeks ago , nag bayad and file na po ako online for my WTR visa. Then noong April 10 sinubmit ko na po sa VFS yung passport ko. So ngayon April 22 binalik sakin passport ko. Ilang days/weeks po ba bago malaman yung result? Also, need ko po ba i-follow up IO ko?
Thanks, P

pepper Happy Easter din! Unfortunately still in progress pa din COC ko from SG. Buti na lang talaga mabait employer ko despite the hassles. Hahaha! They will, unfortunately terminate temporarily my employment kasi nga they don’t want to implicate na working pa din ako if nasa payroll pa ko. They said they are doing it also to protect me baka nga daw masilip, ma-deport pa. In legality lang yun purpose. I’m hoping dumating na yun COC ko. Thank you for all your answers, super nakaka-ease of mind. Regarding leaves, yes they will encash it na lang up to 10 leaves. The rest I can take my leave na lang daw parang verbal leave na lang. na-assure na din naman kasi sila ng IO na approved kaya ok na din.

Sa tingin ko current naman, kasi na-lodge ko na sya prior temporarily ending the contract. But then, di ko sure how that works.
Anyways, just an update waiting pa din ako sa physical COC as of now. Pero I received an email from SG Police that it has been issued. So sana dumating na nga.
Yun question about how fast the process was, almost 2 weeks nag-email na si IO then sinabi nya yun requirement na gusto nya. Pag WTR daw kasi mabilis processing according sa immig adviser nakausap ko, parang may dedicated team yata for WTR.

Just sharing the good news. Finally received my WTR. Hahaha! Natagalan lang talaga dahil sa Certificate of Clearance from SG. But after ko ma-provide ayun approved na pati sa mga dependents ko, except sa work visa ng wife ko kasi gusto ni officer ng COC of my wife. Pero same din, nung tumawag si IO if na-receive ko na yun email nya then tinanong if nag-upload ako ng COC for my wife, sinabi nya lang nya, just send in the docs and everything else is good. Salamat sa mga inputs. Nakahinga na din.
May mga former WTR ba dito na nag-apply ng residence without waiting for 24 months?

pxxxxxxxxxxxxxx - We have the same case! I applied as direct hire years ago. Here's my checklist: 1) POLO Australia 2) Once you have #1, Go to POEA for PDOS (Inquire there might be other requirements) 3) Get OEC (Call POEA. I forgot if I take PDOS first or OEC ) OEC application/requirements (Based on my case they might change): 1) Authenticated employment contract (POLO in Australia) 2) Statement of how I was able to get this employment -I just wrote a letter on how I get the job. I do this in front of the POEA window because I'm not aware this is needed 3) Certificate of Incorporation / Business registration of employer -This is easy you can find it here: companies-register.companiesoffice.govt.nz/4) Academic Transcript -Needs to be red ribbon. Go to your university I went to my uni in taft way back 5) College Diploma 6) Certificates of Employment (from previous employers) 7) Birth Certificate 8) Latest passport with work visa (it can be online paper) 9) Personal insurance* -Go to 'Paramount Life & General Insurance Corporation (Head Office)' sa tabi POEA lang. I got mine around 5k ata not sure. 10) Pre-Departure Orientation and Seminar (PDOS) Certificate by OWWA -Fees: POEA processing fee (USD 100.00 or PHP equivalent), OWWA membership fee (USD 25.00 or PHP equivalent) Hope this helps buddy!

I just want to know kasi kung sakali iniiwasan ko na makita ng Immigration sa Pinas pag umuwi ako. Mas marami kasi requirements from Pinas bago umalis so much better na from SG magmula.

hello po guys.... i’m new here! Question lang po. Kapag ito po ba ang visa na binigay, hindi mo pwede ilagay sa EOI for additional points? Tapos po, sino po ba mag-apply nito? Ako or employer? No idea po talaga! Salamats po!

@formulashp Regardless of which work visa you hold, you can apply po for SMC anytime as long as you meet 160 points. Usually rin po kayo mag process ng residency application unless your employer hired an immigration adviser for you.
