Hi Guys,
First time to post sa forum.
We self applied for my wife's ESV last April 20. Normally gano ba katagal approval may offer siya as an early childhood teacher sa Auckland Central. Hinahabol kasi namin ang June at may government assistance ang mga teacher until June lang.
Sinabay ko na din application ko as partner kasi nabasa ko sa forum pwede naman iprocess nga lang after maapprove ang main applicant.
Same time nakareceive na kami ITA so nagfinalize kami ng docs for SMV as i saw din sa forum na matagal SMV at karamihan ganito ang diskarte while waiting for SMV.
Salamat ng marami.

Update: Since April 20 pa yung application when we called NZ immigration, pending case officer pa din. They told us could reach 4 months also posted sa website. Sobrang tagal nga we got used to efficient process sa singapore for work permit pinakamatagal na 1 month. No use yung letter from employer to expedite. This is for an early childhood teacher post po. Hope we got the visa soon. Dasal dasal

positive - See related post here. Some members sabay-sabay ang pag submit ng visa. In my case, inantay ko muna makuha yung Essential Skills Visa ko then i applied for Partnership Work Visa for my husband so he can work, and Student Visas for my kids who were 3yrs and 1 yr old at the time.

positive You can check online (RealMe/Immigration Online) kung ano po status, if online application. @ LEANNE may LIA po ung employer ko for me pano ko po ma check? pero normal lng po ba ung tinatawagan ng CO kc po nabasa ko na for ESV hindi n raw po tinatawagan eh.

positive all your queries has to go through the LIA if you appointed one in your application (or he or she did your application) so unfortunately you can’t follow-up directly if your application has been made through an LIA...

ok so you mean I can only make follow ups with the LIA? I am just a bit worried and anxious re the phone interview with the immigration officer because they say it is uncommon that a CO conducts phone interview for an ESV application. is this true?

positive sinong nagsabi na hindi normal ang interview for ESV? Forums? Yung experiences ng iba may not be your exact experience. If your CO warranted an interview for your application/situation the CO is within his rights to do so... Baka ganun ang style niya mag verify ng employment. You should be asking your LIA for his or her opinion why this has happened kasi us here wouldn’t know... He or she knows your application best...

If your application has been made with an LIA and kung online application ka... your LIA would have written his or her details sa contact details for this application sa B3... so all correspondence regarding your application will be between who you authorised to do so (LIA) and INZ. This includes B4 din (acting on your behalf) That was our experience when we lodged a work visa application with an LIA before
