Salamat ulit!

msconalison in my case nag ipon kami ng misis ko for 2 years kasi nagwowork kami pareho. Mejo mas mabilis ipon namin kasi naka abroad kami since mas mataas sweldo namin sa abroad kesa pinas. Then talagang nagtipid kami since eto talaga priority.

Hi Chyllca,
Congrats!
So far so good. The first week was the hardest. But it gets better. Sabi nga nila, make new friends para naman may activities ka outside school.
Thanks to Aneng03110 for all the tips and suggestions and of course for welcoming me into the group. Really helped me a lot in adjusting to the NZ life. 😊

New here. I'd like to study in NZ and get a post-study work visa after. Would you have any idea if the "30 weeks" in "Your qualification at level 7 or higher is acceptable if your course lasted 30 weeks or more." mentioned in the qualifications should be full-time study?

almacutie I've had a client who took up a GD in Accounting a while back. Last she mentioned (a few years ago) was that she was already applying for residence with her family. I work with a number of high quality education providers in NZ. If you and shanedayne need help with choosing an education provider, let me know. It's part of what I do as a LIA :)

We are looking into student pathway na talaga. My husband being the student. Nakaselect na rin kami ng course for him pero nag checheck pa rin ng ibang options. We want to go the same time. Yung makakakuha ako ng work visa. Thanks...

Hi almacutie, that's good to hear. You may want to check if your NZ agent is licensed. Student agents in NZ aren't exempt from licensing with the IAA. Out of interest, what course are they recommending?

Hi koru_ph, may licensed adviser sila. Kami ang pumili ng course, it's Masters in Facilities Management Level 9.

Hi, anyone who got rejected visa with the reasons below: 1. You do not meet the requirements to be issued student visa under Pathway Category 2. You have not demonstrated you can be considered a bona fide applicant
any suggestion po...

Hi gemry10, would you like to arrange an initial consultation? I'm an LIA and I've helped dozens of students who've previously been declined apply for student visas to NZ successfully. You can just fill out this form to kick off the process - bit.ly/freeinitialconsultation

mariyaclara Nasuyod mo na ba ung other student visa thread? Hindi na kasi ganun kadali ung student to PR pathway ngaun. Ung skills, experience, course and a lot of luck mo needs to all align para magwork na ito ngaun. Nag loan ako sa family members ko nung 2014 cguro mga 800K all in na un including processing (29 lang palitan nun), ticket and baon but that's just for myself. Family of 5 kayo, kung may mag papaloan sa inyo ng mga 1.5M colateral free then why not. Tuition is around NZD19,000. FTS$15,000. Flight$4,000. Processing$3,000 Baon depende na sa inyo the bigger the better.

mariyaclara - without knowing your circumstance, medyo concerned lang ako sa idea na mag loan to study here in NZ, then bring the family pa. As divhon said in summary: read, research and plan accordingly. I would also like to direct you to this post on FB that perfectly sums up the situation for those thinking of studying in NZ: WARNING! BABALA! Balak MAG-ARAL sa New Zealand?

dahbirck123 I am not in the position to tell you what to do and not to do. Lahat ng desisyon will be by you and only you. When i read your post i am very sure nasagot na to dito. All you have to do is read more. Give me the opportunity to share my opinion kasi galing ako sa student pathway now I am on my work visa. All I can say is student visa is a very risky pathway. If u have other options much better. I took the student pathway kasi wala na ako ibang choice. I had same questions that you have right now before. Pano if di magwork sayang lahat, money, time, effort etc. I am not encouraging you or more so dissappoint you. Work out, weight everything, ano mga pros & cons. Plan A, B or C dapat meron din in case di mag work-out. That time I only have 1 plan not even have plan A, B or C. I took the risk. I tried. Did everything I can. I am fortunate kasi I have my brother here na nauna saken at tinulungan ako in terms of accommodation and school fees ( syempre utang yun na binabayaran ko paunti-unti). When I decide to come here I have nothing to loose sa Pinas so why not take a chance. Actually brother ko pa ang pumilit saken pumunta rito kasi very hesitant talaga ako. Anyways, haba na ng sagot ko. Once you decide, dapat no regrets kasi you made that decision. If matuloy ka man punta rito just do your very best as in lahat. You need to consider immigration too mas strict na sila ngayon and more and more visas applications getting delay approvals din. Don’t forget to pray and ask for guidance too. You’ll get and find the answer soon. Good luck and God Bless.
