garter26 My profession is not on any of the shortage lists as well. If you're going for Essential Skills, you would have to find the ANZSCO code na sakto sa future job offer, experience, at qualification mo. It's easier to target accredited employers initially. Walang extension ang ESV, new application every time.

So yun nga, pa isa isa lang per batch so rare talaga. Pero sa 2018 wala naman na decline Next year nalang talaga ang best bet 😄

Older batches, did you submit evidence of having more than 4,200 NZD? Sinobrahan niyo ba? I did... Di ko lang alam if it’s the same thing people did.

garter26 back in 2016 when i got my slot and went here sa NZ. Tinanggal ang accountants sa shortage list (last year Jan/Feb lang nila binalik sa immediate skill shortage). It took me almost 3 months before nakahanap ng perm na work. Tiyaga, tiwala, tibay ng loob at panalangin talaga ang kailangan. Based on my experience, i'd say possible. madami din sa batch namin (na kakilala ko), resident/PR na and galing kami ng WHV.

garter26 if ESV, no extension laging new application. Target ko rin nun ay accredited employer para work to residence visa. Pero di accredited mga naging employer ko. hired ako nun with the help of recruiter. I was really blessed na naging supportive ang employers ko sa "immigration/visa" journey ko dito. 😊😊

Hi charcharbinks , we do not wish na someone will get declined, I opened that question because, of course, we are all open minded here and as much as possible, no questions left unanswered... I wish all the 100 people who got their slots congratulations, but for me na hindi nakakuha, na kasama rin sa mga nagpuyat, nagabang at nagantay, if there is a chance na mkakuha ng slot, why not grab it without wishing anyone's failure. I rest my case Thanks dhyzer for sharing...

if hindi pasok sa ESV/ or that long term short skilled list, what are the options to upskill para makapasok dun sa mga ESV? shall I study habang nagwowork or any online training/studies will do? your thoughts?

Hi garter26 you can apply for ESV kahit anong skill level (ANZSCO skill level) and basta ma-prove ng employer that they tried to hire Kiwi/residents. Here's the link to get more details about ESV: www.immigration.govt.nz/new-zealand-visas/apply-for-a-visa/about-visa/essential-skills-work-visaMay i ask anong roles ang target mo? Analyst? Accountant? AP/AR? Definitely magandang investment to your growth ang pag-upskill like trainings etc.. lalo kung qualified ka naman talaga sa role na inaapplyan mo (qualified by Education or experience or both).

so kumuha ako gn copy ng result ng xray from nationwide and nakalagay dun sa TB presence is present Eto nakalagay "There is a linear opacity in the inner zone of the right upper lung possibly due to fibrosis." WTH? I've been with different multinational companies here in PH and had several xrays pero never ako na diagnose ng TB. IS NZ immig really particular with lung scar or they will suggest another test? I've found that there is 2 other same case for batch 2019.
If anjan na sa NZ strict ba sila sa lung scar incase man meron ako?

garter26 oo medyo big deal sakanila. your case MIGHT be forwarded to a medical assessor (possible na humingi ng additional tests) so baka medyo matatagalan yung sayo. nangyari na rin sakin yan, na medical assessor ako pero they let it go cos mataas conti blood count ko

garter26 not for working holiday, but for a working visa although same process din ang pagdadaanan niyo in terms of health requirements (mas madaming tests lang yung sa full work visa, whereas yung sainyo x-ray lang). my full blood count was quite abnormal. i took an additional test as instructed by the clinic, pero abnormal parin yung 2nd test so it had to be referred to a medical assessor. normally it takes around 4-6 weeks sa nababasa ko dito. sinwerte ata ako at nabilisan lang yung akin. yours might be a little more serious than mine kasi sa x-ray yan. maybe ask around kung may iba kang kakilala na nagkaron ng same issue?

WHV batch 2019, we have about 4 in our batch with the same Xray findings pero in previous batch I have yet to know. Pag nag sputum test ba dito Pinas meron ulit jan sa NZ? Mamaya kasi matambay ako jan ng matagal just by waiting for the result eh I can't afford kasi wala kamag anak jan.

From what I know meron sa last batch na natagalan ang processing ng WHV niya dahil sa medical results. Ilang months ata yun bago na-process. Siya I think ang pinakahuling darating sa NZ.

garter26 i said you needed to sort out your medical results first. di ko alam next steps mo--kung ipapasa mo na ba yung x-ray mo and let immigration decide for you or i-pre-empt and take additional exams as advised by your panel clinic.. it's all up to you. it pays to read online you might find someone who went through the same ordeal

If I remember it right, meron sa 2017 batch na nagka-issue sa lab/xray and natagalan bago nakuha ang results. Not sure din kung napagbigyan siya or hindi. For those SG based, you can notarise your documents sa Peninsula plaza, madami notarial services pagpipilian at mura din ang photocopy ng colored. With regards sa money evidence, ipakita niyo na lahat ng assets niyo. haha! Goodluck!
