Salamat!

25 May 17 - JSV offer 08 Jun 17 - Sent JSV docs for stamping/labelling 26 Jun 17 - Received passport with work visa (Started sending out resume in Seek and LinkedIn, indicating the estimated arrival date in the cover letter) 05 Sep 17 - Arrived in Auckland 13 Sep 17 - Received email from HR to schedule my first interview 14 Sep 17 - Flew to Christchurch 15 Sep 17 - First Interview 19 Sep 17 - Job Offer & emailed CO about job offer 25 Sep 17 - Sent CTC offer letter to immigration 02 Oct 17 - First day at work 04 Nov 17 - AIP (Thank you Lord) Here's my two cents before coming here, it is good to start sending out your CV once you receive your JSV or RV, yung isang company na napasahan ko way back in July na nagreply at nagsabi na message ko nalang sila ulet kapag nakaarrive na ko sa NZ kase gusto nila face to face interview eh yun yung naging first interview ko at eventually naging employer ko. Next advice is, wag lang financial ang paghandaan nyo, be prepared physically, emotionally at spiritually especially kung hindi nyo kasabay yung partner nyo sa pagpunta kase may mga days talaga na nakakalungkot at nakakadown lalo kapag walang natawag at puro rejection email ang narereceive nyo. Third is wag na wag mawawalan ng pag-asa, basta do your best each and every single day and God will surely do the rest.

Hi All, I just have a question I have a pending residency application. Monday last week, my employer already sent to my CO her response sa questionnaire, and I have already submitted my payslips and IRD docs on the same day. I checked my online account in immigration now, and nakalagay my residency application is APPROVED. For the longest time it was PENDING (I lodged my docs in 14 Aug 2017), and its only today I checked. Wala pa advice ang CO ko so I didn't want to assume na approved na ko. My question is, sino sa inyo ganito experience na approved na sa online account pero wala pa advice? And does that mean I might hear a good news soon (or it my be just a system glitch)? Thanks!!!

I just got an email that my residency is approved in principle! Just need to send our passports So happy kasi this journey was a hard one, my work (and qualifications) is not in the skilled shortage and we just tried our luck despite all the uncertainty. PK has been a big help, I always read all the threads and I got a lot of good tips. Thanks everyone!
