Hi Genean, Yes, pwede kang byumahe, but meron condition. Please see below. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Your resident visa will allow you to travel in and out of new Zealand (as a resident) for a specified period of time only – usually 24 months. Once this time period concludes, your next step is to apply for a permanent resident visa (PRV), which will have no time limit on your travel conditions - meaning, you are able to travel in and out of New Zealand (as a resident) at any time, as long as you have the permanent resident visa in your valid passport.

Hi dennis, First of all, congrats sa RV mo! Sa palagay ko hindi na applicable sayo yung three months. Baka you are referring to JSV tama ba? Where you have to stay for at least three months to get your residency? Kaso since you already have RV, wala ng restriction yan unless nakalagay explicitly sa Visa mo yung condition na yun. That is usually the case kung nag submit ka ng proof of employment ng less than 3 months while on Job Search Visa (JSV). Anonimoose

[Stated in our Visa]Conditions: This visa is subject to to conditions imposed under s49 immigration Act 2009. Holder must take up employment offer within 3 months of 1st entry to New Zealand and remain in that employment for a period of at least 3 months. [Stated in our Approval Letter]
Section 49(1) conditions Your resident visa is subject to conditions imposed under section 49(1) of the Immigration Act 2009. You must meet the section 49(1) conditions and provide written evidence to INZ within five years of the grant of your resident visa that shows you have met these conditions. If you do not meet these conditions, you may become liable for deportation. We suggest you provide evidence that you have met the conditions as soon as you are able to. Under section 49(1) you must: * take up your offer of employment within three months of the grant of your resident visa; and * remain in that employment (or another position of employment that meets the requirements for skilled employment) for a period of at least three months; and * inform your nearest INZ branch of your residential address; and * provide written evidence within five years of the grant of your resident visa showing that you have met the above conditions. If you meet the section 49(1) conditions, and provide sufficient evidence of this to INZ, they will be removed from your resident visa. Please inform INZ of any issues that may impact on your ability to meet the section 49(1) conditions as soon as you can.

Hi markq and Anonimoose,
Thank you for your replies! Actually, I was given a 2 year work visa under essential skill. It has been 1 year and 4 months na ako nagwork sa same employer ko d2 sa New Zealand. I guess yung section 49(1) ng Immigration act of 2009 ay applicable lang sa papunta pa lang d2 NZ or nagwork na d2 NZ pero less than 3 months pa lang..tama po pagkakaintindi ko di ba? Ipa-courier ko na ang passport ko at ng misis at 7 year old daughter ko bukas ng umaga together ng migrant levy credit card payment detail form. Within 2 weeks daw ibalik sa akin passports with visa stamps na sabi case officer ko.
Ta!
Dennis
