pxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Hello. Hopefully nakakuha ka na ng OEC but I'll answer na lang din. Through email lang din sinend ng POLO Australia yung verified contract and hindi naman hinanap sa akin yung original on my appointment. Let us know kung nag issue pa din ba ang POLO Australia ng OEC or nag apply ka rin through POEA in Pinas. Thanks. 🙂

pxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Easiest is find someone in Australia to do the payment for you. Next is Western Union (not sure if still allowed though because if sending from NZ banned yung bank details ng POLO, probably because dami na nag send) Try iRemit or TransferWise (Online) as well.

Ever since the New Zealand POLO opened, can anyone share how we can get our employment contract verified?
We tried calling them but they told us they don't talk to individuals, only agencies or the employer. This is incredibly frustrating as a Filipino citizen that our government agency won't talk to us.
Reading back, the old process for POLO AUS was to send the documents via email. Now, reading the comments on POLO NZ, it's a bit confusing and it requires sending physical mail. It's as if they are discouraging us from seeking employment outside.

mikeunderscore it’s easier for the employer to send the documents to POLO NZ instead of the applicant/employee to POLO NZ because it’s just within NZ. If you have an employer you can politely ask them to deal with POLO. If they don’t want to sign the addendum then you can secure a repatriation insurance for yourself, send this to your employer then they will send the docs to POLO. Pretty sure POLO Australia shifted to verifying actual mailed documents as well prior to POLO NZ being established.

I guess so. I wasn't able to discover this information anywhere else and the official post via the PH Embassy doesn't mention any of this.
Our timeline to move is in danger because we were late to find out and we might lose our job offer.

mikeunderscore you can still skip through the OEC process and exit PH by transiting to SG/Japan etc and be prepared to show return tickets (concealing you’re really going to a third country where you have a visa). It’s not ideal nor recommended but that could be one of your choices given your time-sensitive situation.

Thank you. Yeah, I'd love to be able to follow the government mandated process but it's just a fact that our own laws hinder us from getting a good job instead of protecting us.
