Ganito na lang yhanieforever, kung SOFTWARE DEVT ang gusto mo aralin sa NTEC, you'd be better off spending your hard earned money somewhere else. I can't say the same for the other courses, wala naman ako naririnig/nababasa na feedback pa.

yhanieforever im enrolled at ntec right now. so far formal classes havent started, we're going through PSD classes (professional skills development). to be honest, im finding most of the classes there helpful. kahit na naaral ko na yung karamihan nun sa pinas pa (some as early as elementary hehe), it helps to refresh the memory. saka may subjects sila about kiwi life na kiwi ang lecturers so okay naman. i cant say anything about the actual classes pa kasi i havent started that yet. okay, regarding the free laptop and 2 weeks accommodations, it's true. i got my laptop about a week after i got here, and i stayed dun sa accommodation. in my opinion (and akin lang po ito), even if they claim that those are free, i have a feeling we still pay for it, baka subsidized lang nila. magandang marketing strategy sya, pero ako kasi iniisip ko walang totally libre sa mundo hehe, and libreng laptop sa lahat ng students nila? and two weeks accommodation? hindi birong pera yun. so i think we pay it partly from our tuition fees, they just market it free kasi walang additional na bayad. it makes sense to me. but again, that's just me. and if itanong mo yun sa kanila, they will really claim that those are free. but who knows, baka naman libre talaga at nagmamagaling lang ako hehe.

Ano kayang magandang aralin if my background is secondary school teaching jobs, English and Literature subjects? Yung min 1 yr study and the cheapest tuition and fees and settlement fund? A study that could help me apply for essential skill visa or PR?

Hi, anyone here studied or planning to study in AIS particularly in GDIT Specialization in Software Development? It would be nice to hear good and not so good feedback. NTEC ko sana plan kaso may mga bad feedback but naiisip ko sayang din yun 2 weeks free lodging and free laptop. So far ang naresearch ko na school with this kind of course ay AIS, Unitec and NTEC.

It seems AIS and Unitec mas matino than NTEC.

thanks bagsik! another negative comment from ntec. Nag inquire din ako sa AIS and Unitec on GDIT Software Devt and I think between the two mukang mas ok ang Unitec kasi pre-requisite na dapat may programming exp or you need to take up level 5/6 diploma in programming before you jump in to level 7 Graduate Diploma in IT (Software Development Specialization) which I think tama naman. POV ko lang Sa AIS kasi if you will take up the same course, they accept even those with non-IT background.

According to a friend who worked more than a decade at a school here magtaka ka daw kung mura yung tuition at may mga freebies na laptop or accommodation etc kasi less yun sa binabayad mo and meaning poor quality na ang focus sa education. There is no such thing as free lunch.
Eh backpackers dito pwede yata 25nzd a night eh.

Tama ...ang mga teachers sa Unitec ay mga PhD graduates or Masters graduate pa lalo na sa IT. Very high caliber. The school is owned by the government so ayos ang support at mentoring..If I were you, go for Unitec...Malakas rin ang network nila sa industry !!!

Did you study ba sa NZ?

NZD 1500 , 30K pesos is equivalent to a high specifications or latest tablet or laptop model.

Maganda and programs nila hindi lang para sa school kung hindi in overall including stakeholders and specially STUDENTS whether domestics or International.
Any comments? Before ako mag Student.

Hi romallivss! Wala akong idea sa question mo, honestly. Interested ka ba mag-NTEC? I suggest kung gusto mo pa rin tumuloy doon, set your expecations correctly tapos basahin yung mga feedback dito para you will have a different perspective.
