You will never avoid shortfalls or excesses because of forex rate fluctuations unless your source fund and recepient account are both in same currency. Minsa pa nga hindi pa rin eh.
These days lalo na dahil bumabagsak mga currencies because cheap ang oil. Madami yata may speculations about the oil price

Buti pala I clicked this thread. So ibig sabihin there's a possibility na may shortfall ako? We're all spending a huge amount of money na hindi biro, sana naman walang manloko.

Don't worry too much nikats. God bless sa iyo! This is it.

I agree with you @abish. About the charges, kapag dito na binayadan yung transfer fee sa PH bank, BNZ will not charge you ulit, mababawasan nlang ng documentary stamp at di ko lamg tanda yung isa.
Course fee ko is 14,250 NZD. And sinend namin in USD 10,700. Forex rate ng USD is 44.70.
Kaya sumobra ako ng 168 nz dollars. May sobra pa!!

Thank you @ano ni Moose! terradata if you're looking to buy nzd, we got ours from sanry's glorietta. You just have to tell them at least a day in advance magkano. Tapos may downpayment, not sure kung half or what. They're okay, we've been using them for years na, altho usually for dollars or euros.

Here is what i did. Opened a peso account with eastwest bank. They convert the peso to nzd on the day of remittance, which is exactly the amount due as stated in the tuition. All charges, remitting bank and receiving bank in nz, was debited from my account to ensure exact amount was received by nz. Confirmed received after 24 hours. I can refer you to the manager of east west should anyone need any help to avoid problems such as this.

I've just paid for my tuition sa ntec. Hoping di ako ma shortfall. Pero I'm sure if mashortfall ako, the reason will definitely not be because of exchange rates kc ng FTS din ako. And nung ng telegraphic transfer ako to my ANZ account exact 15000 nzd talaga pumasok sa account ko as per confirmation sa bank statement na ipinadala ng ANZ sa akin. My sender bank(Metrobank) asked me how much exact amount dapat ma receive ng recipient, then they've deducted the necessary fees for bank charges, swap fees etc para di na daw mabawasan yung perang ipinadala ko,napatunayan naman ito nung transferred amount sa ANZ account ko(walang labis walang kulang.) So maybe sa iba, communicate na lang rin sa sender bank mo na consider options na ang mareceive na fund sa recipient is the exact amount and to deduct the necessary fees. Meron rin yan fee na babayaran if gusto fixed yung exchange rate even though may fluctuations sa rates(swap fee).

Haha. May dagdag po sana ako nun Pero pinutol ko. Wala palace naerase lahat. I was on phone kc. Got my receipt from school.
